Motomi S. Imanaka, 86, of Hilo died Sept. 16 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, she was a retired bank teller for the former Pioneer Federal Savings and Loans and member of Heritage Christian Fellowship Church and Retired Senior Volunteer Program. Services held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by husband, Thomas Imanaka of Hilo; son, James Imanaka of Hilo; daughter, Susan Segawa of Hilo; brothers, Futoshi Shintani and Koji Shintani of Hilo; sister, Faye Eko Hasegawa of Honolulu; sister-in-law, Setsuko Imanaka of Honolulu; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
